I found out the other day through Adam
Blomquist's blog, Brain Tremors, that the table of contents has been announced for Library of Horror Press' Dead Bells. You can click here and scroll down a bit to see the full list of contributing authors.
And wouldn't you know it, I'm one of them. Yes, that anthology I had alluded to a while back was Jodi Lee's Dead Bells anthology. My short story, "Burdened by the Break of Day" was accepted and will be among other stories penned by the likes of Adam Blomquist, W.D. Prescott, Natalie Sin, and Gina Ranalli.
The idea behind this anthology is great, and is the reason I submitted a story in the first place. Ten years after the Y2K scare, the proverbial sh*t really does hit the fan. After the ball has dropped on 2009, ringing in 2010, nearly everyone on the planet dies. Only a select few wake up to realize a startling nightmare awaits them in the new year. Each contributor took that idea and ran with it to create their own story, set at any point after New Year's 2010.
I'm very excited to read this, not only to see my name in print one more time, but to read how the other authors approached the theme. It should be a diverse and enjoyable read.I offer my congrats to all of the writers with whom I share company in this anthology, and a sincere thanks to Jodi Lee for considering my story in the first place.
